I bought the Camplux BW2.11 about a year ago.
I use it about 2-3 times per week at my off grid camp.
It's been installed safely underneath an awning on my front step, out in the elements, which means it's tough.
I take the drain plug out because it gets down to -10*F here in the mountains of Arizona.
It works well. Always HOT. Always turns on immediately. I couldn't be happier.

This product is outstanding. Now, it takes a bit more intelligence to operate then a Lego set but please read the directions. I have set the heater up in my garage and plumbed an additional line from my main water line which has a shut-off valve. I ran a hose from the valve to the unit so I don't have to hook up a hose every time I want to use it. I merely open the valve and have a constant water supply. Next, the propane tank sits on the ground and is turned on/off when needed..... that's it!!! With the water and gas on, all you do is push the "on" switch on the handle and the water flows and the unit ignites the propane to heat the water. I use city water so the pressure is perfect. The shower pressure is like a regular shower. The water is heated in seconds!! BE CAREFUL..... it can get extraordinarily hot !!! You can regulate the temperature by the following: To make hot ~increase gas or decrease water flow [using knobs on heater]. To cool ~ decrease gas and/or increase water flow. It takes just a few tries til you have the perfect temperature. I have the unit in my garage on a hand truck. Primary reason for my purchase ~ to clean my dogs off after walks and for their baths. We decided on the 8L 2.11 GPM because we needed a bit bigger than the 5L and also wanted the auto shut-off [on handle]. When the water flow is shut off, the gas shuts off. Once you hit the switch on the handle and turn the water flow on again, the unit fires back up........ it's amazing!! It saves propane and is very safe. Again, read the directions, ensure all connections are made nice and tight. All supplies and extras are provided in the box. I wish I could take a picture of my set-up. I have this nice wash center in the corner of my garage. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted and needed. My digital temperature display is in Fahrenheit [some pictures show a Celsius display]. I love this heater !!!!
It arrived quickly, just what we were looking for. We bought it for bathing my dog and a few horses, hot shower never seems to stop. Camp season is coming, guess we will take it down and bring it to the road.
About a year long, still works like a charm, helps complete a lot of work for us. Still new like just unboxed, and looks forward to how many years it's about to go.
To fill up the bathtub outside our cabin, not complain so far. Do its work and heat up the water quickly, so we don't need to wait for long. 100% recommended.
We live in remote area and was considering to buy a offgrid water heater. After comparing, we wanted to try Camplux. Perfectly meet our needs, I think camplux must has made a lot of water heater products that can satisfy different offgrid households. Absolutely great value for money.
I love this on demand water heater! I bought it to give our show pigs and horses a nice warm bath and for personal use. I mounted it to a dolly so it is mobile. This right here, is a game changer! It took some work to make the fittings leak tight and find the right adapter for the water hose. I picked up an RV pressure regulator, took the fitting from the packaging for the unit and tried various adapters at the store. It works great!
As someone who loves to do product research before I buy something I felt a good review of this product was in order.First I use this as an outdoor shower and to heat a small pool. 10’x30”. I live in the PNW and summer can sometimes be hit and miss for decent weather.I have two young kids who love to swim but the above ground pool was often only good for a jump in then run to the towel shivering. After spending a lot of time reading reviews and looking at heaters I settled on the this bad boy. Set up was a little difficult the instructions are pretty basic. I had to make a couple trips to the hardware store to get the correct adaptors for the hoses. I had a sump pump that runs at around 10 PSI. Which according to the manual should be enough to run the heater. (The min PSI is 3). This set up didn’t really work very effectively it would run for a couple mins then shut off I think this is mostly due to poor water pressure. When I connect a standard garden hose which runs about 45/50 PSI the heater will burn until it runs out of propane which is awesome.Ultimately I purchased a seaflo pump that runs at around 40 PSI. The pump says it runs at 45 but I think that’s a little high. With the water set to min and the gas set to min it pumps out water around 140F. I used an entire 20lb propane tank just to see how warm I could get the pool and it got all the way up to 95F!Overall I’m pretty happy with this little unit. It took a little figuring to get it all dialed in but the pool sits at around 85 my kids spend hours in it!
Very easy to setup and use, they give you plenty water fitting options, we are using as temp hot water supply for our bathroom shower, a $10 4” duct and you can use it in doors, at half gas power water came out 111* with great pressure. This is a life saver, while our house is undergoing repairs
Works great only downfall is the hot water hose going to the showerhead ruptured after the first week luckily I had a spare. Will not work with other showerheads it’s senses the pressure coming out of the factory head which lights the pilot light.
I purchased the unit to use at my campsite which has access to water via a garden hose. I mounted it to a two-wheel dolly to make it portable. I replaced the packaged cheap shower hose with a flexible steel one. I tested the unit out recently and was pleasantly surprised at how effectively the water is heated. The water flow is abundant and the water temp is easily manipulated via the unit's controls. The unit appears to work as advertised. It will be interesting to see how durable it will be after using for several months.
Love this water heater/shower. Heats up very quickly. Not difficult to put together. ONLY issue I had was it came with a European hose adapter, US garden hose is a different thread. We got by on our trip, when I returned, I emailed Camplux. They immediately sent me the correct US garden hose adapter no charge. Next time it was used at camp, no issues.
I bought one of these at the end of June this year. It worked perfectly until recently when it would only work in ECO mode and even then it would stop heating the water occasionally. I did some trouble shooting on my own by using different propane tanks and swapping the regulator to no avail. I contacted Camplux through my Amazon account and was asked to do a couple more troubleshooting tasks by swapping batteries and cleaning the vent area out. The issue was not resolved and they quickly agreed to send me a new one. Easy to resolve and great communication from their Customer Service rep Sophia. We used it every day for about 70 days without a hiccup and we were very happy with it's performance. Hopefully the replacement unit will not suffer the same defect.
Installed on my 336 sq ft shed. Sorry, man cave turned she shed. Works as described. Perfect for a little house or small cabin. Love the fact the it ignites with batteries.
Used it to heat an intex pool and boy did it work. Used an old filter pump i had to circulate the pool water through this unit. Heated the water to 150 degrees in no time, that’s hot! Took the chill out of 2 thousand gallon pool after two 15 pound propane tanks. Yes, it uses a lot of propane if you run it at full temp but it is well built and well designed.
Use it in my dog grooming business.Have a second one that we use camping. Washing dishes and bath.My fist one is 3 years old. Use it 6 days a week in my grooming salon.

Do not hesitate to buy this heater. It’s well built and functions like it should. Most importantly the company is solid. Customer support is very helpful; in fact, I broke a pipe because I put too much muscle into it (my fault, not the product) and when I called to buy the replacement part, they sent me a new heater free of charge. I don’t know about you but these are the kind of people I want to deal with, besides their product is excellent!
Happy, but it needs more than 3lb water pressure. I have 7 and it did not work. I hooked up a pump that puts out 35lb and it worked ok. A little avoidance is the D cell battery holder. No indicators for +/-. But it only works with the batteries in one way. Temp and controls are real nice. I've had it 4 years now and works extremely well especially now that I up graded my water pump to a 3.3gal/min at 55psi and took out the shower head restrictor. It wasn't getting enough flow and would shut off every couple minutes. No problems now. Very nice unit.
I am unhappy that the plastic shower head and bracket is low quality. We have had this unit for 3 months and only use it on the weekends . Last week the plastic bracket that holds the shower head broke. I am having difficulty finding a replacement part.
Easty to install and works great if just using the hose attatched at the heater but we have it hooked up to work in a tiny home so incoming water line is hooked to the heater and the shower head is used in side in the shower..the sink is very hot and great..but the shower water is just over luke warm...it has to do with the pressure I"m sure and the way our plumbing is set up in the tiny home...but still a frustration till we figure it out!
I have not been able to use the product as it is for emergency hot water use and for upcoming car and house washing but the dimensional space savings over the competition's was a big selling point for me. I like how all the necessary attachments came standard with the unit too.I was offered an incentive to review this unit. I cannot give it 5 stars since I have yet to use it but the setup is very user friendly in my opinion.
