- Use only with approved propane or natural gas connections
- Ensure adequate ventilation when operating
- Do not use in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces
- Follow all safety instructions in the user manual
- Turn off the water heater, take out the batteries
- Disconnect all inlet and outlet connections from the water heater(there maybe leak out, please prepare with a bucket or rags)
- Unplug the drain plug in the bottom of the unit, tilt on it’s sides to drain it off completely
- Store indoors in a dry environment until next use

This is Camplux water heater is amazing. All I do is turn on the gas, then the water and immediately have hot water. I love it!!!!
We purchased the unit for our Park Model Vacation Trailer to replace the 10-gallon electric water tank. After hooking it up on the trailer for us to have super long showers without heating an electric tank --- we realized it would also work well for a backyard garden tub. We purchased a number of fittings and ball-valves, a hose to fill and a hose to drain the stock tank and rigged it all up. It works fantastic for our needs. When we want to have Spa-Tub time we turn the valve to fill up the tub and when we are finished bathing we turn the valve back and it gives continuous hot water to our trailer for dishes and showers. Very satisfied with the experience and ease to convert into our special need at our vacation property.

So... we knew when we got it that performance at higher elevations might be iffy, but we got it anyways 'cause hubs really doesn't like cold showers when dry camping. We used it for five days at 10k feet elevation and 50-55F temps in the early evening and it worked great!

The first time I used it was 2 month ago, we were 30 peoples on 4 days outdoor hiking, we take a shower one after the otherThe hot control bottom was just a little bit above minimum and the water flow was at min as well to save waterThe gas stops when the water flow stop and It didn't use much gasIt was about 5 min between showers, so when you press the shower handle on, its take 1-3 seconds until the hot water arriving (the water on the tube cool a little bit)The Camplux works flawlessly and I am happy with the way its build and working and in my opinion its definitely worth the money

Hi there!I'm a Maine Guide and Purchased the Camplux Pro 1.58 GPM Tankless Propane Water Heater along with the Camplux JK-3206P 12V Water Pump 6L/Min 65 PSI High Pressure Caravan Boat Gas Hot Water System this past September for a guided a moose hunt. There were four of us on this hunt, our 2 sports, the camp owner/ cook and myself planning on being there for up to 10 days. This September was very warm in the North Maine Woods for this hunt with temps in the mid to upper 70's. As you can imagine a shower was a welcome thing at the end of the days. The water heater and pump performed fabulous and supplied us with a hot shower in the cool evenings. I look forward to more trips being and being able to have a hot shower in the middle of nowhere!

We are building a house and needed hot water for dishes and showers. This little hot water heater is amazing and heats the water quickly! Had to turn it down because it got too hot. Everything was included in the box to set up (minus the DD batteries and propane). I would definitely recommend and buy again!

plumbed into camper hot water line. flow to sinks are somewhat lower but higher flow heaters don't cost much more. hot water is endless! included shower head is actually better than original camper shower head and has plenty flow. high winds mess with fire but seldom a problem. propane use has dropped drastically as it only heats when water flows. 6 gallon tank heater kicked on 10 times/day.

I have used this for my daily showers in hot or cold weather for the last 18 months.The good:- Good and hot showers down to just above freezing temperatures- Has proven reliable- D Cell batteries have only needed replacement once- Easy to install- 20 lb tank lasts about 2 months even with multiple people taking hot showers dailyCould be better:- Fahrenheit temperature indication would be nice for us Americans. But hey I never had any shower temperature indication ever before in my life.- Due to constant exposure to steam and moisture (in a contained shower) the lower surface and lower mount points are beginning to rust.- A seasonal temperature adjustment switch would be nice to allow for a lower heat setting. I have found that summer showering can result in either too cold showers with the heater completely off or too hot of a shower with the heater at lowest setting.Tips to the user:- Flush the unit with vinegar periodically in order to avoid scale buildup. I had to do so just after a year of multiple daily showers. Water flow became erratic and temperature would climb due to restricted water flow. I performed my flushing with a diaphragm style water pump.- Install an inline filter (SHURFLO 255-313)- I would recommend installing a waterproof switch to disable the water heater if needed- I would use silicone sealant to seal the battery compartment (I have had a few instances of the device not turning on due to corroded batteries).- Drain the water heater by disconnected inlet and outlet hoses during freezing weather.

Living in a camper full time while our house is being built. Having a nice hot bath makes me feel human after working on the property all day. It’s normally a lot of work involving a fire and boiling several pots of water. This was so much easier. I’ve only used it twice so far but I’m loving it.

Upgrade to 5 Stars; After used for few weeks. It works perfectly without problems. The other brand would shut off when it's windy, but not Campus. Appears to be much better quality. The shower head has a much better shut off control knob. I be happy if it last 2 seasons.The previous brand(Ec#@temp) that I had, which only last 1 season. I kept it inside during winter. Smoke came out from the unit during second season.Cost $20 more is worth it.

I bought this tankless heater due to the good reviews and the price. On May 22 our home burned down leaving us homeless other the a camper we had in the back yard for when we had sleepovers. The camper is not hooked up to any sewer line so running water to it would do us no good. It is going to take 3-4 months to get the house livable, since I have outdoor skills, I turned out BBQ area into a wall in shower and a place to do dishes. I am soooo impressed with this tankless heater! Never run out of hot water, the water stays at a nice warm temp and it was easy to hook up. We love it so much we are gonna get a larger unit for the house. Plus now when it's all said and done, I have a new addition to take camping with me鈾ワ笍 I am a lady and haven't had to call tech support for nothing, definitely worth the money!!

Works perfectly on calm to low wind days. Having the water temperature displayed is great. Moderate to high winds can shut off the flame in the middle of a shower and you need to restart.
Have it hooked up but have not actually used it yet. Purchased for an outdoor shower at an off-grid property. Real easy to set up and should fulfill the off-grid need very well.

Only just installed and run once but operating perfectly with our 15# water pressure. Unit appears well made…. All except for the two plastic fittings for water in and out. We installed in a permanent situation in an outdoor stall, so connections were to threaded flex hose. I was VERY careful not to over tighten the flex hose into plastic fittings….and it appears to have been a success!
Over all I’m happy, but after a week it started blowing black smoke. I opened it up and cleaned the heat exchange fins and it seems to be work as it should again
We replaced our previous outdoor shower heater with this Camplux model, 3 months ago. It has been working great and is much less susceptible to wind gusts than our old heater from another manufacturer. The built-in chimney and rain cap probably help keep the flame going in our coastal winds. The digital temperature readout is helpful for setting the heat to a comfortable level, as our inlet water temperature changes from our well to the shower location.
Used this as the heater component for my above ground pool. I have a 12 foot round pool (about 1500 gallons). PVC from the pool thru a pump into the heater and back into the pool. I have the pump on a continuous timer, 10 minutes on then 3 minutes off. I get about 3-4 degrees temperature rise per hour and a 3 hour run uses about 7 lbs of propane. During the summer I was only running it about an hour to bring the water to 84 degrees on the top and about 82 at the bottom. This has been a great heater for this. Water comes in mid-70s and exits about 140. Couldn't be happier.

Used this for an outdoor shower and it was a great decision. Sometimes the temperature would fluctuate to unbearably hot or would go to freezing. Have to turn it off and turn it back on. But, overall it was great. Very easy to set up.

This is a really cool device. It allows you to have hot water when no hot water is available. This can be used at home or when you are out camping. It is a pretty cool device for emergency situations and it really is something that you never know you need until you need it. I grew up in a place where you had two of the following, either water, power or gas, and never all three at the same time. This heater would have solved the gas problem and allowed me to have hot water. This was in Naples Italy in 1975 if you are interested.Setup is easy. You connect everything. Follow the rules and you will have hot water soon enough. You do need propane but that is easy enough to get. Once everything is ready to go the propane takes a moment to get through the lines. The fire starts and your water is ready to heat.You might never need this but I will say that having one and never needing it and not having one and needing it are two very different things. One gives you the promise of a hot bath while the other gives the promise of a cold shower. Regardless, if you are considering something like this check this one out.

Had to purchase as our home water heater burst. Construction still has not been done. Four+ weeks w/o hot water heater. Shower by heating water on stove. Weeks away before the new water heater will be installed. Decided to buy this item. Finally we can take a hot shower.Several problems…..main items are the quick fit connectors. They are worthless. Leak. No good Chinese fittings. Forced to go to Home Depot next day to buy fittings to replace. Not happy with that at all.Takes a little playing to adjust the temperature but stays solid after you set it. Shower not strong but certainly more than adequate so that is not an issue.Heats up very fast. Quiet. Very little heat emitted at exhaust. Should not be a fire issue at all.Instructions are so-so. Need to do better on that.All in all, I am quite happy with this as it is performing well for what we need.Prepare to throw the plastic quick fittings away and spend money at the hardware store.I would have given this 5 stars if it weren’t for those cheap fittings.
