This a great patio heater. It's compact, easy to roll around and it works great. Its easy to light and the flame and heat are consistent. I'm going to buy another for the cool fall days coming.

Ok, so everyone makes a gas heater and the basics are the same, pilot light, valve, igniter. From that perspective this heater is similar to many others. however, it is the little things that push this to a higher rating. First off, it has integrated handles to easily move it even when attached to a tank. It is designed to accept the 5# tanks opposed to my old heater that only takes 1# LP. It has a folding shelf and built in cage to safely hold the tank and everything in place. The bottom of the shelf has a wheel to help increase mobility. The black, rust-resistant finish looks nice too.
This Camplux Outdoor Propane Heater comes fully assembled - you'll just need to attach a 20lb propane tank (not included). There are no tools required, and it rolls easily on 5 casters. There are three heat settings and it heats up quickly. This is going to make working in my garage so much better during the cold months. And everyone will be toasty hanging out during holiday gatherings.

Love the compactness of it. Don’t have to drag the tank and hose around. I really should give it 5 stars except for the grate on the back. It’s nearly impossible to get it in the little 3 holes at the same time!

The first time in quite some time, that an item I purchased EXCEEDED my expectations! I use in my work shop ( 18 ‘by 20’)and the units THREE heat settings, easy to set up, easy to start, and performs flawlessly! Great customer service and you can't go wrong with this heater!
Gave as a gift-- friend was grateful. The price was right, and it has an oxygen depletion shutoff. Different options for tank size make it nice, and it comes with the 20lb hookup items (some don't and are more expensive). You can't go wrong by purchasing this unit. Meant for outdoors but with proper precautions it can also function as a backup source of indoor heat when power is out.

I ordered this to replace a smaller propane heater that I keep on my screened porch, to warm up those cold Winter evenings. The smaller heater didn't quite produce enough heat, but the CAMPLUX Outdoor heater does an excellent job of keeping the whole area warm. More importantly, the CAMPLUX runs off of a 20lb propane tank, rather than the smaller bottles that my other heater runs on. This means a LOT fewer tank changes and refills. Overall, I'm very happy with this upgrade from my previous heater and look forward to some cozy nights on my porch this winter.

Very nice Propane heater, All pre-assembled and ready to use, Comes with connections. In the back of the unit, there is a large space for your 20 pound tank, comes with a plate stand and supporting bar to keep the tank in place. As for heating, heats great with simple turn on and ignite dial.
I ordered this heater since I constantly hang out on the soccer field sidelines watching my boys play soccer. But during the winter, it is freezing so I wanted to find something to help us bear the cold. It heats quickly, provides pleasant infrared warmth, and it's really easy to start up with the igniter. I was able to mount it to the a small dolly so it's easy to roll up with it in tow and I got an adapter to use it with the smaller propane tanks. And we recently purchased a sports tent, so I'm curious how well it's going to work inside there -- though I do have a concern about carbon monoxide, so I'll be sure to use it cautiously. I can see how this would be an awesome add during camping trips.
I have several camping heaters and this is on part with the best. However, I would encourage everyone to read the instructions before using this heater. It's best practice to not stand directly in front of the heat source when lighting a heater. The same stands true for this unit. I haven't taken this unit camping but I have been using it as a patio heater and it has been working well. I don't have any issues with this heater.
Our central heat quit 5 plus years ago. Can justify spending that much money since we only have a few cold spells a year. So I bought two of these heaters and they work fine.
Took it on our camping trip and it was perfect. The size and the strength in heat distribution
4 person dome tent with two of us on cots. The unit was about 4 inches away from my cot and I was concerned it would be too hot. I turned one one burner and, as they taught us in school, the heat went straight up and heated the tent about 20-ish degrees in about 2 minutes. Though my cot eventually did start to heat up a bit, by then the tent was toasty and it was time to turn it off.
The heater works great, of course you just have to be careful since it's a propane one, there are no safety features in terms of fire and whatnot. I will say it definitely eats up the propane quite quickly, my garage was 25° and it took about an hour and probably a gallon or so propane to get it up to 38/40°. Granted my garage is not completely insulated, I'm sure with an insulated garage it would be much warmer. Overall a great heater
Love this for early or late season camping. On high, it’ll chew thru propane tanks, but other than that, it’s really nice to not be shivering in the morning! I have a larger tent and I set this up on a folding table mostly centered, and it works amazing! Very happy I got this, one draw back, everyone wants to bunk with me now!
This was a great birthday present for my man. We use it in our deck in the winter for when we get out of the hor tub. Also to be used next hunting season so we don't freeze our toes off.
We were impressed, by the single tank heater, we knew we’d really like the double tank heater. We were not disappointed, great quality product, easy to move around, very easy to set up and use and brings and maintains the temperature. May get another one for our camper
Bought this for power outage and we had one. It is nice that I can light this myself if my husband isn't around. It was very cold and windy outside and we used this and an old single burner of his dads (both burning on Low) in living room and another a little different in kitchen/dining are and were comfy. All totals about 700 sq ft. We could have turned them up to med or high if needed but only put one can in my double burner. Very happy I bought this one.
I used to use a kerosene heater in my garage when working out there in the winter, but the smell gave me headaches. Also used a salamander with forced air but that is very loud. The is best of both worlds, great heat source and quiet, plus I grabbed the filter and hose adapter for my 20lb propane tank so I never worry about running out of fuel. The little tanks are fairly expensive but I cane refill the 20lb tank for 15 bucks. Buy the kit and save yourself time and money.
