Power is a starting point, not a fixture-capacity promise. Confirm usable flow at your required temperature rise and the exact installation requirements.

A kitchen, handwashing station or utility sink can have its own requirements. Start with point-of-use models, then check activation flow and the temperature rise your fixture needs.

Two details can help narrow the range. Final sizing still depends on your simultaneous flow, temperature rise and electrical capacity.
Add the hot-water flow of fixtures used together. Subtract incoming water temperature from the outlet temperature you need. Then check the exact model’s output and electrical requirements.
Ask about your setupMake the match with your installer. These checks help turn a product shortlist into a well-planned installation.
List the fixtures that run together and their actual hot-water flow.
Compare cold-season inlet water with the outlet temperature you need.
Ask your installer to check the exact model against the available supply.
Match the model number and revision to the current installation manual.
Find your SKU, or ask us for the current manual.
Find model documentsReview destination coverage and current delivery terms.
Read shipping termsCheck eligibility and return conditions before ordering.
Read return conditionsStart with the fixtures used at the same time, their combined hot-water flow and the temperature rise from incoming cold water to your desired outlet temperature. Compare that demand with the exact model’s performance chart, then confirm electrical capacity. Bathroom count alone is not enough to choose a model.
A suitably sized model can serve a whole-home installation when its usable hot-water output and the home’s electrical capacity match the demand. Compare simultaneous use and cold-season inlet temperatures. A whole-house product name does not guarantee capacity for every home.
The 3.5 kW and 4.5 kW models here are described as hardwired units. Their voltage rating does not mean they can use a standard household receptacle. Have a qualified electrician check the exact model’s instructions and the available electrical supply.
Do not assume a small point-of-use model can supply a shower. CAMPLUX specifies the 6 kW TE06PRO for sink use, not bathing. For any shower application, confirm that the chosen model’s documented purpose and performance match the required flow and temperature rise.
Colder inlet water needs a larger temperature rise to reach the same outlet temperature. At a fixed heating power, less water can be warmed per minute through that larger rise. Compare the model at your cold-season inlet temperature rather than using a maximum GPM figure alone.
The heater starts heating when its activation requirements are met. Water in the pipe between the heater and the fixture still needs to travel to the tap. Delivery time depends on the plumbing distance, flow and model activation requirements.
Tankless models heat flowing water without storing a reservoir of hot water. A mini-tank stores a small heated volume and reheats it as water is used. Compare your draw pattern, available electrical supply, space and required flow. Mini-tank heaters are a separate product category.
Confirm the exact voltage, electrical capacity, circuit requirements, approved mounting location, plumbing connections and service access against the current instructions for your SKU. Electric models do not burn gas, but their installation still needs to follow the model manual and applicable local requirements.
Follow the exact model’s maintenance instructions for filter inspection, cleaning and scale treatment. Water hardness and usage affect the schedule. If flow or heating changes, use the documented troubleshooting steps or contact CAMPLUX with the model and installation details.
Share the fixtures you use together, the models you are considering and the supply information you know. We can help you find the right documents and next questions for your installer.
