The second biggest reason why you should consider a truck bed camper over an RV is the amount of free camping options that owning a truck camper will give you access to.

This is largely dependent on the truck bed camper you select for your adventures, but generally you’re going to see better fuel economy with a truck camper than dragging a big RV around.

Because truck bed campers are lighter and take up the same footprint as a standard vehicle, they’re much faster, safer, and easier to travel in.
