We liked the price and the reviews on this water heater, so decided to give it a try. It arrived with a broken gas valve, so I contacted customer service. They were incredibly responsive, and made sure I got a working gas valve quickly.We did end up putting it closer to the gutter than is suggested by the manufacturer. We didn't feel like the heat that comes out was that hot (you can put your hand right in it)It's nice and quiet, and the water is staying a constant temperature. I washed 5 dogs the other day, and the water warmth was perfect the entire time.We have 7 kids, and are really happy not to be running out of hot water for showers.Only thing we weren't nuts about, is the wired control panel doesn't have a removable plug. So, it will have to stay outside with the water heater (it does have a really long wire, but we don't want to have a wire leading in through the outside door)So far so good! Happy with our purchase.
Arrived quick and was very easy to install. Unfortunately after about two months of working great, my unit quit on me. It wouldn’t ignite and showed “C0” error code.Wrote technical support and after a few weeks of trouble shooting, they sent me a new unit free of charge. I appreciate that kind of service. I am willing to to trouble shoot and try and fix it, but if it doesn’t work, a new unit is sometimes all that can be done. Now we have piping hot water again just in time for winter!

I want to know how to get the remote control through a wall. It says to mount it in a dry location and the unit is supposed to be mounted outside. The remote cord is NOT detachable at either end so how do you get the cord through a wall? Give me a call - 760-420-6639

I really love this unit if you need one.I have natural gas and this thing is hot water instantly .Unlike the junky electric one I bought on ebay .Wish the cord was in two pieces you have to open cabinet use pliers to remove the wire grommet unplug and then do it reverse order.But it's worth it I really am impressed with quality.Now I did receive my first one damaged from UPS and all needed was new cold water valve over two weeks constant emailing and instead of a simple valve the sent me a whole new unit .I don't understand their thinking oh wellGreat unit lackluster customer service

Love the water heater. Easy to install and understand the digital read out. The power went out and we had a hard freeze which cracked one of the parts, luckily it was still under warranty. We contacted the company to see what they could do, they couldn't replace the broken part so they replaced the whole unit! Once installed, I freed up a 220V breaker for another project in my house. Heat delivery is on par with my previous hot water heater. I also freed up a large amount of room in my laundry room so that I could add a freezer.
I have a two bedroom one bath 1000sqft house. This unit supplies the entire home including an outdoor shower. It worked very well and the water is very hot. The installation was relatively easy.
Love this thing. I use it to heat a 450 something gallon stock tank pool. It works very well , 100 plus degrees in half hour or so. For science geeks depends on the outside temp. I also needed a small water pump to force water I into the system since the force of the pool water can't feed it fast enough. Anyways this thing super rocks and was easy to install. I run off 5# propane tank and lasts about 24 hours. Of course 24 hours in small increments.
Working great! This unit has a nice compact design. It was easy to install as a replacement for a previous on demand gas unit. Only improvement would be a few extra bolts to cover losing on or messing one up.
I am writing this review for the PROPANE version of the heater. The water heater is overall of very good quality. The most important information that should be included in the Installation section of the manual is that water line fittings are 3/4" NPT and that the gas inlet is also 3/4". If you want to hook this up to a propane tank (as I wanted to), you will have to get a 3/4 x 3/8 reducer and a standard propane hose with a low pressure regulator. The customer service does not know to tell you this. Also, the 3/4 gas fitting on the unit is not flared, so have some gas-rated thread tape. The function of the priority button on the remote controller is explained in manuals of other manufacturers (e.g., Rinnai) for similar water heaters; essentially once the unit is running you have to "take priority" in order to set a higher temperature, the "priority" button allows you to do that. Otherwise, you have to turn the unit off at the power button on the remote controller, then turn back on and immediately set the desired temperature.In my application, the unit needs to operate continuously for several hours at maximum flow and maximum temperature, and it achieves to do so. I am using this heater for a 4000 gallon pool. With a water pump rated at 7.66 GPM there are no problems. If the pump flow is set to a higher value (I tested 9.5 GPM) the burner will intermittently extinguish and the unit will report error code 12.

We own a cabin at 9200ft and have struggled with finding a solution for an outdoor shower. Between the poor high altitude performance and the constant safety shut-offs I had just about given up. This heater literally saved me. It starts instantly, stayed lit in 35mph winds (protected on two sides only) and heats water from 41F to 108F in right at 35 seconds. The only downside for off-grid is the reliance on 110v AC. A quick pull of the cover and it appears that it is AC direct to the control board. Plus side is it pulls roughly 200 watts so a small dedicated inverter is on the way.Total usage time is only a week at this point, but I have super high hopes. Overall, I couldn't rate this guy any lower than perfect.8 months in now and this not only one of the few products I have reviewed, but the only one I have gone back to update. This thing just keeps on trucking with zero issues. This past winter I ended up melting snow to feed this back into a frozen solid 55gal barrel and it warms water from sub 30F to 110F like nothing and never skipped a beat. The control panel is very simple and accurate. I had started this setup mixing cold water in with a temperature regulating valve and have completely abandoned that for directly controling via the panel. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Works well. Needed to reduce the flow of water so the machine didn’t error. It’s plenty amount of water for showering with pressure though and water stays hot.
This took about an hour to install. We have low water pressure at only 24 psi the device worked perfectly once we determined to keep the flow a bit lower so the pressure would stay up. If the pressure did not stay up the safety feature which regulates the burner, would turn the fire out, sensing low water pressure. Adding an expansion tank to allow for the rapidly hot water, solved this problem. The device works wonderfully and the flow rate is excellent, much faster than I was expecting. We were able to continually use the device to fill up our jacuzzi which requires 250 gallons! Amazing, we were unable to accomplish that with a standard water heater.. This device exceeded my expectations, is well constructed, well documented and worked right out of the box!
This tankless works amazingly once all setup. In my setup I had to spend about $200 in material. Maybe others might have to spend different. But once it’s in you have to adjust the water temp to your liking. Couldn’t be more happier with this tankless.
