I replaced a full sized propane tank this tankless unit in an off grid solar cabin I have. I was worried that my gravity powered water pressure up here might not be powerful enough for the unit to kick on. But fortunately it fires up just fine. But I notice when taking a shower it starts off by putting out a fairly consistent water temperature but then it might drop by 20 to 30° before it then ramps up again. But to be fair, I haven't had the unit very long or fooled around with every settiing it has.

Works great once I studied how to hook everything up. Used a 4 inch hole saw for the vent. And slide a driyer vent pipe over the 2 inch vent pipe from the heater. After 6 months of use it been working great and saving me money. Planning on buying another.

I love this product. This has been in my RV for two weeks now. I live full time in my RV. This is 2nd attempt and a tankless 1st was a cheaper brand that almost burned my RV down. This works flawlessly. I finally feel like i get a real shower. Easy to use and easy to install. I’m saving a ton on propane.

Do your homework before purchasing this item. It will not work if you live at an altitude above 2000 feet. This should’ve been noted in the description, prominently. If your going to sell this to customers in mountain states you should be proactive and let them know. Won’t do business here again.

It was a replacement for one that froze and broke. No mention in the installation manuals that even in a heated space the unit would freeze from the air coming in the exhaust pipe. Also no mention in the users manual about what the Power adjustment, Gas adjustment or water temperature adjustment really do.

I had a different propane water heater, and it broke in a dangerous way after only a few months. This one seems to be much better constructed and reliable - no issues whatsoever after daily use for three months. I'll update the review down the line if anything happens, but so far I've been totally happy with this unit.

This didn’t work for what we needed. We are currently trying to exchange it for a different model. I think the product is good but this one is not what we thought it was or could do. UPDATE - the company has been wonderful in working with us to exchange this model for a model that would work for our needs. We purchased this model for a dry cabin with water tank but it didn’t have enough pressure to light the heater. Thanks to working with the company we now have one that is more for outdoors like camping. Would definitely purchase from this company again.

This unit has been amazing, I waited to write a review until iv had it installed and used for awhile. Most negative reviews are mostly due to the misunderstanding on how these units work differently from a normal standard hot water tank. The temperature setting is always going to be a bit touchy and may need to be readjusted any time the incoming water temperature is either colder or hotter which depends on where the source water is coming from as well as the affect of temperature change due to winter and summer. I never allow anyone to touch the temperature dial because they have no understanding of how it works. No complaints at all about this unit, everything works as it should.

Bought this as a cheap alternative to replace failed tank heater. Was not sure what to expect for such a low cost heater but after 2 months of use, have been quite pleasently suprised. Instalation was fairly straight forward with the exception of needing to plug in, which I fortunately had nearby recertacle. Water and gas lines hook on with common fittings. I did put a T&P valve in the water line along with gas pressure regulator (recomended/required by most codes) which are not included. Venting will depend on your paticular installation. I was able to install with the included vent pipe but may require additional vent pipe depending on your paticular needs. As this is a base/entry level model, temp. control is basic and takes some patience. Maual does not explain how to set very well which is why tech support got 3 stars. Was able to figure out on my own but no one should have to waste a lot of time on phone to get info on setup that should be in manual. Overall, has performed well over last couple of months. As it is a smaller unit, best suited for anyone who does not have high demand for hot water, as will not run multiple faucets at one time. Great for small home, garage, camper etc.. or installed as point of use such as shower, as it will deliver continuous hot water.

heater is installed in a 4 unit apartment building. I occupy the second floor and the unit furthest away. The water takes about 30 secs max to get warm and stays that way. Once the tap is turned off and then on again (such as when showering) there may be a few seconds gap before the water gets warm again. Still very useable.
