Customer photo review of Camplux Portable Propane Heater 12000 BTU

In compare to other brands, this heater is much bigger and has higher heat. It has a flashlight which is useful during night. In addition, you can use any kind of propane cylinder, but I only used the small size one which fits. The whole body is made with weightless aluminum which is easy to move it around.

This Camplux heater was priced at $143.99 at the time of this review. It's very simple and works well. The dial controls the gas flow to the heater. The ignitor works. The tip sensor works. The Led Light shines in your face. Overall, not a bad heater.

Done great, help to keep warm in the ice storm

Used it for 8 hours in my ice shanty, it worked fine .

I’ve tried it out and it produces plenty of heat. I purchased an adapter to use 20lb propane in case of an emergency. I live in an all electric home with a heat pump, so wanted something i can use in case of a power outage when is cold enough to be uncomfortable without a heat source. I think it will work well and appears to be A good value.

Works real easy great heat

Like it

I bought it for my hunting stand it doesn’t matter how cold it is outside this little heater is like being at home warm and comfortable I really like it and recommend people buy one also great when power goes out at home I can still stay warm

Great product, heat up nicely. I'm so glad I purchased it.

Bought it as a “tiny sun” for tailgate kitchens. Level surface, crack the side door, and pancakes happen without numb hands. The ODS/tip-over protection is exactly the safety spec I wanted.

Sunrise setup is chilly and customers bail fast if they’re cold. A portable propane heater keeps our booth welcoming so folks actually browse. It’s part of our display now—quiet, compact, and it starts every time.

We do window swaps and punch-list fixes. The crew appreciates a quick warm-up station while staging tools, and this portable propane heater earns its keep. It’s rugged enough to live in the job box, lights every time, and has the right safety features for a crowded site. ROI is easy: warmer hands, faster finishes, fewer coffee-warming breaks. We pair it with a larger cylinder on long days.

Our tiny cabin doesn’t need a roaring furnace to take the edge off. This portable propane heater gives a calm, focused glow that makes breakfasts and late-night reading comfortable when we crack a window. I appreciate the quiet operation and the safety cutoffs, which help in a small space. It’s easy to stow under the bench and light with cold hands. Thoughtful design for small living.

When you’re bouncing between exterior doors and garages, a reliable indoor outdoor propane heater is a morale booster. We stick it just outside a workspace with airflow, and it keeps the team productive without stringing cords across pathways. It’s simple, stable, and doesn’t scream like a jet. Customers see it and understand we’re prepared for weather, which reflects well on the brand.

Cold dawns at the barn are less brutal with a 12000 BTU propane heater near the tack area while doors are cracked. It’s tough enough to survive straw, boots, and the occasional nudge from a curious nose. No cord to compete with hoses, and the safety features keep me calmer around busy footing. It’s the kind of rugged tool that pays back in fewer frozen fingers.

We camp year-round now. This heater extended our season into shoulder months so we skip crowded summers. It’s earned its place in the bin alongside the stove and lantern.

As a van lifer, I wanted something that didn’t hog space. This tucks into a milk crate, then punches above its size when doors are open. Saves propane compared with blasting the main furnace for quick warmups.

We try to pack light. The portable propane heater earns the weight because it extends our hunt and cuts down on cranky, cold decisions. Simple to maintain, obvious controls, and it keeps coffee hot between sits. That’s a win.

We spend weekends in a 200-square-foot cabin. The indoor outdoor propane heater warms the porch while we sip coffee and watch the fog burn off. It’s a tiny luxury that makes shoulder season worth it without permanent installs.

My backyard potting bench used to be off-limits from November to March. The indoor outdoor propane heater changed that. Now I seed trays under a canopy without freezing. It’s quiet enough that I can listen to podcasts while I work.

I’m not here to brag, but this camping propane heater basically saved our early-spring sunrise coffee ritual. We crack the windows, set it near the tailgate, and the radiant heat takes the edge off without blasting noise. The ceramic burner plate throws a steady, even warmth, and I like that there’s no assembly drama. It’s become part of our trunk checklist with the camp stove and lantern.

Lunch breaks in the lean-to are civilized again. The camping propane heater gives us a warm circle to gather, share a thermos, and plan the afternoon. Simple gear that makes hard work feel less punishing is worth every penny.

Great gift for outdoorsy friends who already “have everything.” It fills the gap between bulky patio towers and tiny hand warmers—simple, safe features, and enough heat that people actually stay outside.

I’m a numbers person. After adding a 12000 BTU propane heater, average dwell time at my booth went up, and so did conversion. Warm shoppers are happy shoppers. It packs out quickly too, which matters when the lot clears in a hurry.

For late-season games, an indoor outdoor propane heater is the hero nobody knew they needed. Ours sits at the edge of the canopy, taking the chill off without singing the tablecloth. I like that it’s not heavy or fussy, and the oxygen sensor is a confidence booster when the crowd gets thick. Feels like a smarter, smaller alternative to those towering patio units in a parking lot.

Great for hop-and-drill ice days. Light, warm hands, move to the next hole. The compact footprint means it rides in the sled without eating space needed for rods and tackle. Reliable ignition, every time.

As a volunteer coach, I’m juggling cones, rosters, and a whistle. A 1 lb propane heater is small enough to bring without a second trip, and it makes pre-game talks bearable in frosty dawns. I love the automatic shutoffs and stable base when a kid bumps it chasing a stray ball. Parents keep asking where we got it because it’s the rare comfort item that actually earns space.

I was skeptical about BTUs, but the 12000 BTU propane heater has the punch to make a steel van shell feel cozy at dawn. We run it with the slider cracked and it’s the difference between dreading mornings and actually making pancakes without numb hands.

We tried electric towers first—meh in the breeze. This radiant propane unit actually cuts through wind on the leeward side of our patio. Small footprint, surprisingly handsome next to deck furniture.

If you guide youth sports, this keeps the bench cheerful at 7 a.m. practices. Lightweight enough to shuttle between fields, and the shutoffs help when a ball inevitably bumps the stand. Vent and carry on.

We’re the house that hosts game night. The indoor outdoor propane heater means we don’t have to cram everyone inside. It’s surprisingly quiet, looks fine with our furniture, and lets the night run long without sweaters and complaints.

We cook on a tailgate and mark maps by lantern. The 12000 BTU propane heater turns the staging area into a warm bubble so fingers stay nimble. It’s not fancy—just tough. Takes a hit, rides rough roads, and keeps delivering heat when you need it.

I wanted to stop dragging guests inside at 7 p.m. The portable propane heater lets us linger, play cards, and enjoy the string lights. It’s a lifestyle upgrade for way less than installing built-in heat. Feels solid too, not flimsy.

Pre-dawn camp is all about routines. The camping propane heater lives by the chuck box so we can see our breath less and think more about wind and thermals. It’s quiet, steady, and forgiving with gloves on. Great piece of kit for deer week.

Handles dust and bumps like a champ. We’ve tossed it in the overland bin for months—roads, washboards, you name it. Still ignites first try and throws a steady, even glow for breakfast briefings.

On the ice, you want heat fast, with no wires and no fuss. This 12000 BTU propane heater cuts through single-digit temps in the shanty when we crack vents. The tip-over shutoff is real insurance when boots and buckets crowd the floor. Fuel use feels reasonable over a full morning set. It’s durable enough that slush and melt haven’t fazed it after a season of hard use.

For an off-grid shed and porch life, an indoor outdoor propane heater is a perfect “targeted heat” tool. We use it to warm hands while filtering water or doing tool maintenance, and it sips fuel compared to trying to heat big volumes. The ignition is reliable when temps dip, and the form factor stores neatly next to the stove. Simple, rugged, widely compatible with the fuel you already stock.

I used to juggle blankets and chemical warmers. Now one camping propane heater does the job. I set it on level ground, keep airflow, and it sips fuel while we play cards. It’s small enough to stash under the seat and tough enough to haul around without babying it.

We live rural and lose power a few times each winter. A 12000 BTU propane heater is a practical backup that doesn’t care about dead outlets. We ventilate, follow safety rules, and it’s peace of mind in a compact package.

Great crossover heater: campsite breakfasts, garage projects with the door cracked, and chilly soccer sidelines. The LED on the handle is surprisingly useful when packing up in the dark. Simple gear that does exactly what you want.
