Worked really good! We loved it. I didn’t realize it would freeze and bust internally, which is my fault. We did try to fix it with no luck so we are looking to order another one.
My new well wont be connected to my new home until spring when the ground thaws & I can dig a trench for the well's plumbing/wiring. This means that I have no running water right now so must adapt & improvise around that sad fact. This hot water shower system helps me do that very nicely! I originally worried that the pressure wouldnt be strong enough or the water wouldnt get hot enough but learned that all such concerns were baseless! The pressure may not be as strong as "normal" house plumbing but its plenty strong enough for a shower. And water tempurature is beyond reproach! Set at its highest or anywhere remotely close to its its highest, water temp will scald you! Seriously! I keep the water flow dial at about 1/2 and the flame intensity dial at almost minimum for my showers and i like hot showers. These set ups arent supposed to be used inside but Ive got fan driven ventilation in my bathroom and dont take long showers. I love this shower set up. It sure beats having to drive to my relatives house all the time just to shower!
This unit delivers hot water. It's easy to set up and was just what we wanted. The only downside is the hose for the shower spray is just too short. We will replace this before we go camping next. Other than that it's the trick!!
After building a mount for the shower to fit on my vehicle, I initially had an issue with the pump not drawing water reliably, and I was concerned because of an overland trip coming up within a week. I went through the typical RMA back-and-forth with Camplux, and they went the extra mile to get me a replacement pump within about 48 hours so I would have the device for use on the trip. Great service, and they really delivered. Here's a handy tip--if you're only drawing from drinking water containers, this will easily get water more than hot enough for morning coffee and cooking. This is great for camping. The hose to the shower head is a bit short, I simply added a few extra feet to accomplish what I needed. Lowest heat setting and maximum water flow provides a great temp for a shower. The heat can be turned to max and the water flow to min and it produces scalding hot water, great for adding to some cold water for washing dishes etc.. highly recommend this product.
We purchased this unit and took camping in Maine. We used a 15 gallon water tank and had hot water in no time at all. It was easy to mount inside our Jeep with Velcro straps then mount outside the vehicle when in use.
I got this with the intention of using it in a gravity fed water system in an off grid cabin. But I find out it requires a pressurized water source. So I can’t use this for my needs. Seems well made with quality accessories. Would be good for a hunting or other cabin with propane and a pressurized water source…well or city water connection.
This was a great purchase worked in the pinch we where in a little small but will work when we go camping and make a great addition to our home made camp trailer.
This is by far the best product that I have purchased for camping. Once it was set up it was a breeze to use. The water gets very warm. The showers at the end of the night before sitting by the fire were amazing.
I finally got around to hooking this up for a camping trip. I wired the pump up to accept a 12v accessory socket attached the hoses and install the 2 D batteries for the ignitor. I have to say this thing works well! Anything off the lowest heat setting is too hot but it will work perfectly for a quick shower at a campsite and heating water for dishes in the tent trailer.

We've been using the propane camplux hot water on demand system for a month and a half off grid. We are building our permanent cabin, but living off grid till its complete.
Three stars may be generous but the system is better than nothing.
The camplux has multiple reality issues in that it doesn't hold a consistent temperature, and fluctuates depending on time of day. Morning showers, you'll have it up as high as it will go to get it warm enough. Afternoon showers, you cant turn it down low enough to get a decent shower. Temps in the afternoon can range between 113-133. Its really uncomfortable.
It also has several malfunctions mechanically. Battery, filters, water pressure, etc. Its a high maintenance piece of equipment. As well, you have to build a shield on the sides to keep wind from blowing out the pilot light (being careful to not shield it too much so that it still has airflow).
If this is the best thst can be manufactured, then its better than nothing at all, but its certainly not a pleasant piece if equipment to deal with.
This is very easy to set up and it works amazing. Took to camp site at a race track and had multiple people that were amazed with the set up and how well it works.
The shower was fairly easy to set up however instructions should be written by a native English speaker or with assist from AI. The shower itself works great. Good flow and water gets hot very quickly

To drain the device properly, please open the drain stern at the bottom right of the water heater, turning in a counter clockwise direction. Disconnect all incoming and outgoing water lines to ensure proper drainage from the water heater.

The unit was designed for portable outdoor use. It is splash-proof and can manage a little drizzle, however, prolonged exposure to rain/water will damage the internal components. We recommend our Pro Series which can install a weather-proof rain cap and has larger flow rate (from 1.58 to 5.28 GPM).
